    Ok, I know the thought of your own parents getting down and dirty doing the horizontal monster mash isn't exactly the most pleasant one, especially this early in the week.
    But today is my Birthday, and it got me thinking.

    I must have been conceived in and around Valentines day.
    There must be a pretty high percentage of the population with birthdays in November.. Febuary 14th being a fairly universally popular date for romantic sexy time and all.

    Have any of you worked out when you were "planted"?
    I've asked a few of my mates and it's amazing how many people have a birthday roughly three months from one of there parents, or there wedding anniversary, a holiday that they still talk about, an infamous country wide blackout.. Whatever..

    So.. When were you conceived?

    I'm not going to even start figuring out the date, however happy birthday!

    On a lighter note: Bored in Science class years back. My mate slagged me so I proceeded to write down calculations on a page (I knew he was 3 weeks overdue as we discussed it beforehand).

    He questioned my scribbling fury but I ignored him until I finally announced "March 12th 1984".
    "What's that?" says he.
    "That my fatheaded friend, is the day your folks f*cked and you were conceived. Yes, your parents had sex that day."

    He looked so crestfallen and didn't insult me for the rest of the class.

    I was conceived around harvest time, one of the busiest times in the year for a farmer....all my mother remembers is bringing hang sangwiches out to my father when he took a break, the rest is me :pac:

    he was concieved the day before i was born... maybe his parents were celebrating my arrival into this world?

    A term isn't exactly 9 months for every pregnancy either.

    The phrase "in or around" was used in the OP.

    I think it's quite clear that this thread isn't about exact dates, but rather approximations.

    That vid is pretty funny.

    In one of my friends family 3 of the kids have their birthdays with in a 5 day spread which is roughly 9 and a bit months after their Da's birthday.
    If thier parents had of had a birthday blowjob tradition none of them would have happened.

    I was supposed to be born on my Mam's birthday (16th December) but I arrived 5 days early on the 11th. So I guess I was conceived on March 16th 1989.
    My oldest sister was born 9 months and 3 days after the parents got married, so it might have been a shotgun wedding! :P
    Or else she was conceived on the honeymoon.... *shudders*

    My sister brought to my attention the other day a Pregnancy book my mum had when she had her first child (my brother). Inside the book was written our 3 names and the month/year of conception. :pac:

    Pregnany is dated from last menstral period (LMP), found that out when we started trying (we suceeded!)...babies can be late or early though so best ask your parents if you really want to know (I know and it is a mixed blessing).
