I was fixing your post. FYP = Fixed Your Post ;) It's a common enough procedure mostly used for comic effect.

Oh, I didn't actually know what that means.

I meant I didn't go into personal stuff when I talked to her.

But you see what I mean though, you talked to her, what did you say? You called her an annoying bint on here, but I bet you didn't have the balls to say that to her face? See what I'm getting at?

I understand it's easier to have a go anonymously, I have done it myself, recently I just think it's nasty.

Glad to see things are staying the same - none of that free education working on this thread. I think ye should all have to pay fees, if this kind of stupidity still prevails.

Yes of course your entitled to your opinion, and it not sexism, it never is!

    That made me laugh. :)

So, what did you say to her anyway?

    Well that's manners really.

You might think a guy you work with is a c*nt and say that to your friends but in an argument with him you won't call him a c*nt. I see this as the same thing.

I believe she is an annoying bint. However my ma raised me better than to resort to calling someone a name to their face. It's not about having the balls to say it because really it doesn't take a brave man to call someone a name.

I just said I thought she was absolutely terrible on the telly and is better suited to some other job that involves being quiet a lot more.

Not one of my finer moments but I was drunk so there you go.

    FYP.

I can only hope you then pointed to your crotch and slurred "here's the other job....a BLOW job...on my penis....with your mouth...."

    Please say you did.

If I felt that strongly about someone in work I would say something to them!

I know exactly where you are coming from. I just think some people here, and I don't mean you in particular could really think about what they are saying about people behind their false names. What you said wasn't that bad.

You called her an annoying bint behind your keyboard, but when it came to the crunch and you met her you bottled it because of your good manners. She could be reading this now wondering where your manners are now!

Sorry to pick on you anonboy, but you are the only one brave enough to admit you met her and didn't say what you are saying online.

I would rather sit at home and slice my eyeballs open with a Stanley knife, then pour salt into the holes, than watch The Panel

See that some of the boys here are having confidence crisis. What another woman taking a mans job.

It's nothing to do with that. She's just not good. She's not funny, and when she had the rant about bankers and expenses it was just cringeworthy - she really didn't seem to have a clue what she was on about. Actually, she'd probably do pretty well as an AH poster :D
Should we have all fellas on the Panel, would that make it funnier and amke ye feel fuzzy and warm. Ah bless

No, the whole thing should be scrapped. However the money would then probably be given to Ryan Tubridy as a bonus, or to whatever comedian they find in the canteen to start their own show.

Edit: I don't think there are any Irish comedians left that RTE haven't given their own show.

Lucky? Do people think she's hot? Jaysus.

Not my type at all. I'd rather mount D'arcy. ;)

Well it is for me, but then I'm a huge sexist, it was all downhill after they got the vote in my opinion. I was giving other people the benefit of the doubt.

There's an unwritten rule in the Irish broadcasting book - if you work on the the Ray D'arcy show, you have to be equally as, or less humorous than it's host. Maeve Higgins also bears testamony to this.

You also have to have the IQ of a flip flop.

For what its worth I think Mairead's lovely. I always liked her voice and when I then saw the body and face it would be fair to say they didn't disappoint. She's the least annoying Irish woman on TV in my opinion. She is the straight woman to the other 3 lunatics and fulfils her role to perfection. I'd be happy to be stuck in a lift with her (and Aoibheinn O' Sullebhian (or however you spell it!) especially now that her and Tubridy have apparently split up.

could you ever look at aoibheann again though with any degree of respect knowing that she voluntarily let that string of piss tubridy get up on her.

I'd happily look at Aoibheann all day. We all have to learn from our mistakes.

She's just the token women on the panel, it seems obligatory that the panel have to have one, probably the best pick of a bad lot, they have tried before with other token women as Seoige(As funny as wet cardboard) and Fiona Looney (:sick_smiley)
