I bought my dress for this around the start of the summer! Heh. I'd say it'll be epic, as always.

    Best ball of the year.

Also, any excuse to wear a suit is worth it.

Food was good, band was great. DJ was woeful! Not all of us like hearing 'I Don't Feel Like Dancing' three times while all our requests are ignored. Also, some people like alternative. Not CONSTANT DANCE MUSIC. Boo-urns!

I agree. The DJ was absolutely dire. Constant calls of "I want to see all your hands in the air!" at inappropriate moments, off rhythm coordinating of Rock the Boat, repetitive, bland pop music. Not one Queen song was played! That in itself is a crime.

The band were brilliant though and the food was excellent. Far exceeded my expectations.

Yup food was good, the band was great...DJ was very hit and miss, more miss than anything though. He'd fill the dancefloor with one good song then clear it with a spate of bad ones...when I say clear, I mean clear it of the people with taste :P

Also, it wasn't exactly a full house last night, how many tickets went unsold? Recession must really be hitting people bad if they couldn't afford the best night of the year or this event wasn't advertised enough *shrug*
