Any recommendations on what brake pads I should get for a specialized sirrus bike.
I have only have it about 4 months now and the brake pads are worn...is there certain brake pads that last longer than other?

Kool-stop salmon get good reviews for great stopping power in the wet. I heard somewhere that they might have discontinued them though

They probably do stop better in the wet but feel pretty spongy compared to standard Shimano pads. The latter provide a much sharper response in the dry but basically completely fail in the wet. Choose your poison.

I've found the Swissstop Greens pretty kick ass for wet conditons (dry too obviously)

    This is a V-Brake:

Probably what you have on the Sirrus. V-Brake pads are a different shape than caliper pads used on road bikes, etc.

You will also have to figure out whether your bike has pad holders or pads attached to the mounting holder, e.g. if you want the first or second here:
