Which distro for this machine?

    That machine should be powerful enough for most distros. Given that it's used a fair bit on netbooks with Atom chips, Ubuntu should be fine, there's even a step by step guide for getting it running here on the XBMC site.

    Yep, I'm leaning towards the "XBMC Ubuntu" distribution. Apparently XBMC can't use VDPAU under Windows yet (or so I've heard, I haven't confirmed it myself).
