That got me aswell, at the start of the game at the MiG base, most of the Russians had either a FAMAS or an AUG H-Bar, what happened to the AK-74 or AKM in this game I don't know, they were in CoD 4.

And why did they call it the AUG H bar, its just a standard AUG A2, the barrel length is standard with no bipod.

I like the weapon selection in game but its almost turning into Rainbow Six with tangos with all sorts of random weapon combinations. ACOGs on shottys and sniper scops on MP7s, instead of the more realistic loadouts. I won't even go into the Desert Eagles at the US Ranger bases.

The M203s on the SCARs instead of the EGLM was bit of a let down though.:pac:.

The best weapon ingame for me in the early part was the FAL with the under barrel shotty. Great for picking off guys from roof tops and the shotty for room clearing. Felt like Arnie in the police station in T1.

For the past 2 days now I'm stuck at

the part where you have 90 seconds to get to the sub, got so close a few times, I made it to the checkpoint once and it came up saying saving checkpoint and I got taken out so it didn't fully save it.:mad:

So if anyone has any tips for that part I'm all ears.

Overall though I think CoD 4 has the better campaign, especially with the SAS sniper missions, and the AC-130 part which was a nice break.

I never noticed the Scar thing, The Scars I was using didnt have any launchers but it is a bit of a let down fot them not to include an EGLM huh.

That FAL is a beast. Easy to sight, no fully automatic and good penetrating power. I found it a lot more useful than the Masada in that mission where you are running through the streets with tango's coming from everywhere. i think it was the second or third mission.

I didn't like how theres no way to turn the rifles into semi though. i hate using full Auto coz the rights jump all over the place. Overall I think Flashpoint was a better game in terms of control and realism but was let down by being a bit buggy.

And being incredibly boring and poorly designed.

I skipped No Russian from about halfway through, yes. Aside from being pretty nightmarish, and as important as it is plotwise and all, it's actually not a whole lot of fun to play.

I can't play online, so I'm half-considering trading it in to be honest. That makes me sad - I love playing it, there just isn't enough to do. Damn shame.

I suspect MW3, when and if it appears, won't reach the same dizzy heights saleswise. I'll be damned if I'm paying full whack for five hours and a few novelty challenge missions again.

It defo had its bugs but i liked things like, fall off at range where you had to compensate by aiming higher, Squad control where you aren't just following a dot to your objective etc and more use of vehicles than in COD6.

i thought it had a good story line and the length was ok it could have been a bit longer though

im on level 20 on multiplayer, last night i was playing with and against doyler92 and richie,

For anyone who liked the ac130 mission in MW i suggest you download a game called AC130: Operation devastation.

Its pretty much that level multiple times

These people need to get some real problems. Online play for me has been flawless.

yep, they spend 2 years on the game of the decade yet they still felt like messing with things like that, having the aug at twice the power than the gpmg and what pisses me off most is that the kriss is the weakest smg...

Its sh1te aswell,

It used to be the gun of choice in COD4 thanks to its power and mag capacity but it just doesnt cut it in this game like the last. FAL for the win.,
