    Our Breff is a Guinness World Record holder!


    Earlier this year, Bref along with four other Irishmen were part of the 14 man crew of the 'La Mondiale' which broke the record for rowing across the Atlantic. The crew who set out from Gran Canaria on 15 December, beat the record set by a French team, on board the same boat, in 1992 by more than two days. 60 previous attempts resulted in failure to break the record.

    This is part of his biography on that site:
    "His major was Biology, incorporating several projects including caffeine tolerance, muscle memory, and the evolutionary significance of jogging."


    I suppose he will need to re-write his biography after the apprentice to something like this:

    "His major was from HARVARD, incorporating several projects including "Aoife & Sam" intollerance, brain memory (and lack thereof at presentations) and the evolutionary significance of all the other appentices (no impact on evolution was found)" :p

    Nice guy ol'Bref is, lived 2 houses up from my best friend.

    Used to have a St.Bernard the size of a horse that would propel him through the air, like something from a cartoon, funniest thing ever.

    Hes done well for himself, surprised me, I didn't know he he had it in him.
    Fair play to him.:)
