you'll have to start drinking wine - then you can drink with the meal and not have to wait!

Cars are expensive to run. What's wrong with it? - Garages like ripping people off too :(

Yeah, good to see new people in here anyways. It got a bit dead. Only me and deRanged seem to be keeping it alive these days...

We will :). Yeah rad's can be bit expensive. Dodgy getting 2nd hand ones but sometimes they ok. Have you tried ebay.co.uk ? - even from england they pay ya to get them. Car parts are for nothing off it.

i dont intend on getting a second hand one.. i have ordered 1 of munster rads, but they dont have them in stock so have to order 1 for me. i drive a 87 e30 bmw, and do most of the work myself on it. only pay for a mechanic when it invovles it having to go up on a lift or something.

On the way home the other day, I saw some people with a packet of eggs and two litre bottles of water with the bonnet of the car up. I was very impressed with the DIY. then again I don't know if they actually managed to drive off :)

On the topic of fixing ones cars themselves I personally am useless but thankfully my brother and father know alot of people in the trade so do it for cheap for me! But this time not going to be so easy, my idiot of a brother crashed my car on Thursday (he shouldnt have been driving it, livid with him) thankfully theres no mechanical damage but my front bumper needs to be completely replaced, so the cost of acquiring one and spraying it etc isnt going to be cheap, stupid fibreglass, and the fool has no money to get it done, so looks like Im going to have to drive a banged up car for a while, sigh!

Oh that's annoying. On the good side, panel beaters are having a quiet time so maybe you get it done on cheap. You sure the front panel is ok, how hard was the bang?

Speaking of that... someone on college road kicked my front wing car and dented it in, exactly where someone done it before also. Might just buy a new wing now instead
