    IS 40 YEARS OLD TODAY !

    a long time for a kids show IMO.

    any memory's of it ? Favorite character ?

    i think my favorite would be the cookie monster... just amazing :D

    They were in the Muppet show, not Sesame street.

    As was Animal. But there were a few character cross-overs.

    Probably due to the fact that big bird is 75% less annoying than Gay Byrne. Can't compare against pat, as he was a wooden puppet from another generation.
