I have the mother of all virus on my computer! It has
completely locked me out of my computer. It keeps prompting
me for a user name and password for normal windows XP
and safemode.

I have not setup any passwords on my computer none
Before it logged me out the virus seemed to be the windows
Enterprise virus tons of error messages came up and my desktop
Background had been changed and there where 2 new desktop
icons on my computer call windows defender (I don’t use t and
I’ve never had it on my computer before)
If any help is out there I would really appreciate it!

I am not able to post any of the usual logs because my computer
will not let me log on so help with that would be great or if
their is anything I can do through the command prompt???

I'm not as up to speed as others on virus/malware but I would get my hands on a linux live distro. Ubuntu is a popular user friendly example. http://www.ubuntu.com/
you can burn it to dvd and boot it straight off the disc.

if you haven't used linux before it can be a little daunting at first but its really very strait forward and there's alot of beginner info available from the community forums.

In any case you'll probably just want access you're drive and get your data. back it all up using an external HDD, reformat and reinstall.

I would deep scan all the backed up data before restoring it to your new install.

NB. turn off/disable autorun before connecting the hdd to your new install. info at http://autorun.moonvalley.com/enable.htm.
sandboxie is an excellent free program that will enable you to safely interact with suspect data. http://www.sandboxie.com/

As I said before I'm sure someone can offer you a better solution, this is just what I would do.
