Hi, if I buy cheap frames off the internet, is it possible to get lenses put into them? How much would this cost?

Yep - its called a reglaze.

Specsavers price: 45 euro, or 39 pounds if u go up north. Not too sure about other opticians prices.

http://www.ciliaryblue.com/index.html is really cheap! £15 sterling. But as it is a UK based company, it will only accept prescriptions from UK registered optometrists, so you'd probably need to get a test in the north to use them. They'd probably charge extra for posting to ROI as well.

Most opticians will glaze frames not purchased with them but for a price there is normally a glazing fee on top of the lens price. If the frame breaks while with them they will not take responsibility for it. This can happen with cheaper frames. Why don't you try buying the whole package online with your prescription and all?
