Do you think that you are younger than you actually are?

So the other half and I were watching a soap the other day and she asked me if I thought a character was sexy. I replied that she was ok but not as nice as 'X'.

She looked at me aghast and said "but she's only 18 - that's a bit wrong"

It was then that it dawned on me that I think, subconsciously, I am still in my late teens/early twenties. Despite being a responsible father, husband, employee etc., etc. I think I still reckon I'm a young 'un.

Does anyone else feel the same?

P.S. Brummytom, if you answer this in the affirmative, you will be banned from every forum except the junior cert and possibly reality tv.

I've been told I look from between 16-25.
In my head, I feel about 30.

Well i'm 33 but still think i'm mid to late 20s. I even thought about going back playing rugby and taking up boxing again but it took me 3 days to recover after an hour in the gym so i'm only fooling myself really. I am still cool though:). Now where's me pipe?

I'm 20 but I still feel like i'm 16. I don't know why, the years just went flying by and before I knew it, I had an I.D and was in college.

i feel about 15 tbh and i;m 23.

i have such a childish humour, watch kids programmes, collect toys etc.
not normal for a 23 year old

I'm definitely younger than I am. I look much younger than I am, I'm 15 since august but look like a young 1st year. In places like Irish College I always find myself attracted to people who are much younger than me. There was a girl older than me by a month at IC and I understood that she was good-looking but much prefered a 13 yr old, a 2nd yr. Most of my friends thought this was wrong but I always find I'd rather people a year of two younger than me than my own age...

I'm 25 and look about 19 or so everyone seems to think.

I feel about 21 and don't intend telling anyone when I reach 26! I'm 25 forever now!

Use to think like this. Not anymore so much. Now when someone asks me how old I am I usually say (x-1), no x. Where x is my current age. Of course in this scenario "someone" is usually a bouncer. Which probably means I currently look about (x-7), which is how young I felt when I was about (x-3).

Actually, no.. I feel older than I am - I'm much more comfortable having an adult conversation with older people.

It normally makes me come across as a twat

I've just turned 24, and I keep telling people I'm 22. Not ashamed of my age or anything like that, I just keep forgetting my actual age. Shudder to think whatI'll be like when I'm 70!

I'm the other way round... I've jus turned 22 but feel 25 because I everyone I work with is 25-35

Im 26.

When I was 18 people taught I looked bit older maybe cause I was tall (6ft 2in)

anyway when I was about 23-24 people taught I was about 20

Now people think I look about 30 hence why i seem only score with older women. Like few weeks ago I was in Ennis scored with this oldish bird. She brought me back to her place, all was looking good for me she told me she 34. No problem there then she goes how old am I? I said 26 well she looks at me in utter disgust and wanted throw me out cause I was too young for her (not even kiss on cheek after that balls up eh). This girl taught I was her future husband I say;). But in general its works well but this time not so well.

Yes I keep thinking I'm 30 when I'm not, then I remember I'm not and have to stop and figure out how many years more I am past it.
