What exactly is the point of yet another flashy website with a list of projects that may or may not even happen?

There was the DTO one, then the transport 21 one, the RPA one and now this. Just build the feckin things and set up websites with integrated journey planners etc. not just links to Dublin Bus, IE et al. Just a waste of money tbh.

Well this one is specifically for Dublin but I can definitely see your point.

They do have an interactive map here. It needs a lot more data on it like contact details/directions for stations and all the bus stations including what number goes from where.

Basically it needs to copy the Interactive transport maps that TFL and RATP have on their sites.

I like the website, it has a nice layout which is easy to navigate. But they do really need a journey planner which has all the various modes of transport integrated. Although they will have to factor in time to allow people to buy seperate tickets for each different mode of transport as there is no integrated ticketing!!

Also, way to copy London with the name. :pac:

Left the following comment in the feedback section:
The most potentially useful feature of this site, a journey planner which would allow users to plan multi-modal travel (with real-time updates) is absent.

Other than that glaring absence, the site is adequate.

Got this nice reply to the feedback above:
    Dear xxxx,

thanks a million for taking the time to get back to us.

Your point regarding a Journey Planner is well made, and is indeed a feature we intend including in the future.

Unfortunately, for a number of reasons, we are not in a position to offer this just yet.

As someone who provided us with feedback, I am sending you this personalised response. You will also receive a generic one over the course of the next couple of days.

    Thanks again for your assistance.

    Kind regards,

    xxx xxxxxx.
