Dell Inspiron 1720 charging to 30% then stops

    Dell Inspiron 1720 charging to 30% then stops its writen that charging but all the time is 30% and when i disconnect him working only 30 min like on 30%.

    Anyone know where is the problem?

    It may be that your battery is dying (The cells are exhausted, not the battery being empty).
    Restart your computer while holding F2, when the BIOS starts go to battery information or battery health and tell us what it says.

    this battery is performing normaly,battery life 30% charging but nothing happens:(

    Completely drain the battery, leave it outside the computer for an hour or two and then try to recharge it again.

    Sounds like battery is dying, my laptop did that not so long ago, just got stuck at a certain percentage, best tip is if you are leaving your laptop plugged in on mains power for along time is to take the battery out, as heat doesn't get on well with the cells.

    Sorry for late replay-after week battery is 100% bot now when I disconnect is 100 and to 92% later 7% so battery is dead (cells).So its no chance to fix it for myself.
