Hey lads. My brother ran into a strange problem today. I installed the
game yesterday on the hard drive (after installation, 36 GBs free) but
today was the first time he loaded up the game on his profile and then
he got an error that there wasn't enough disk to save game. This was
after he got the message about not turning off the PS3 during autosave
which is fine but then he got that error. Just thinking on the spot, I
told him to uninstall the game and try it again and then it worked.

Then, he installed it again on his profile and then it loaded up on both profiles fine then. I know it seems like I'm being picky but I'm just concerned that there is something with the firmware or worse, hardware. Anyone else have this problem or anyone who'd know a solution to why this happened? Thanks.

I'm not sure but I think it might be that your hard drive is on its way to crashing. I would back it up as soon as you can.

Take it from someone that lost all his data and saved games... do it quick before it becomes corrupt.

After you back it up, format the hard drive, transfer the data back to your hard drive and check it then.

If the problem persists then it may be a more concerning underlying problem

Sounds like a similar issue that prototype and some other game had, where as it wouldent install because it said there wasent enough disk space when there really was. Did you search other ps3 forums to see if it's a widespread issue ?

Its a common bug with some titles with installs. it solves itself by deleting anything off the hard drive and trying again :)
