Consider heading north for a simular model, UK (NI) Spec is often better.
Sterling at the moment is getting Stronger.
Falling Collapse in the Irish Market should bring the VRT down (It's calcualated on a % of the Open Market Selling Price)

Know of someone who bought an `05 A6 Early this year in North, got it all in, for just under 14k and it had low mileage and was High Spec.

In this climate it'd be crazy not to consider it, and having a UK Spec will defo improve its resale value some what.

i remember the start of this year a dealer selling two of those a year older for a good 3k less. Taking into account that the car shown is getting to that age soon and the hard sell it would be afterwards it doesn't look great value. Nice car all the same

It's a lot of car for the money of running costs don't bother you. That steering wheel looks very shiny, I'd be looking into the mileage.

Nice car, very well presented - but I'm fecked if I would spend that money and have a cloth interior!

It's mad in terms of Irish Context, but, bearing in mind, most (if not all) UK Cars do have a Full Service History and some dealers in the North wouldn't take a trade in if the car hadn't a Full Main Dealer Service History.

Remember Audi build quality, once serviced at regular intervals is well fit to do multiples of that mileage.

[A lot of cars found on usedcarsni.com may have big enough mileage due to a lot of them being company cars, which should give you added security knowing that a strict service guide would have been followed]

With diesels it wouldn't be a major issue if the car is priced accordingly and has a good service history.

Have to agree with u there, VERY high price on it for that spec.

For a mid size executive saloon the spec on that A6 is pretty poor, cloth interior, no multi function steering wheel, etc. Doesn't really have much going for it at that price.

Even though this below doesn't have leather it is still a grand cheaper:
