I honestly have no idea what could be going through someones head to make them do this to a defenseless puppy. Its disgusting. If they can do that to someones pet right in front of them you'd only have to wonder how far they are from doing it to another person.

Op, you would be wrong to beat the sh!te out of them, but i dont think anyone woulod blame you for it. Waste of oxegen!

    Why not?

Both of them are considered to be sins. Sins and wrong doing aren't considered to be on levels or involved in any sort of hierarchy, they're seen as equally wrong.
So yes, yes I can compare them.

In my world its worse to murder a guy than to steal his bicycle. Which means I can't agree that there is no hierarchy for wrong doing.

Any scum like this should be just shot..injuring/killing animals like this is always prelude to starting on people.

Really? That sounds like crap to me. There may be a link to killing small animals first and the graduating to human but it isn't an automatic transition AFAIK.

I remember seeing some teenager that tortured a cat and videoed it. When they were caught and sent to prison/borstal they were relentlessly beaten up. They were interviewing them and they just were pretty messed up three lives destroyed over a cat? It is punishment but is it justice.

I also find it incredible that anybody would think a child is born into the world with no ability for empathy. It is certainly more of a nurture than nature thing from everything I ever read.

I coveted my neighbours wife - am I as bad as them???

It is possible the kid is lying and it wouldn't be the first time a kid lied about what they did blaming somebody else.

No you would not be wrong. But you'll have to beat me to it

**** them cat or no cat, if they are that sick to do something like that to a cat then imagine what they would do to a human if they were in a fight!!!

Yes of course it's justice. Seems to me like the case you described would be one of the rare instances where criminals who partook in animal cruelty actually recieved an appropriate punishment. It's not as if they were locked up for life or put to death. I doubt they will repeat offend after their experience. Had they got the usual so called 'punishment' of a scoulding and a small fine they would be back to their old ways in flash no doubt.

If people were properly punished for these type of sick acts then there would be far less animal cruelty going on in the world.

To stay on topic, I'm increasingly shocked by how many stories like this are in the media in recent times. WTF is going on with people? It's just horrific.

I've been on boards for 4 and a half years and this is the dumbest and worst post I've ever read, it has literally put me on life tilt.

Get a clue, by your logic sex outside of marriage is just as bad as rape and murder.. They're both sins..

Good Jaysus, even the most knackery scumbags that I would be familiar with wouldn't dream of doing something like this. I mean, how does someone get a kick out of doing this...??I'll never understand people...:(

I was walking my baby about 3 years ago by Fitzgerald Park in Cork city and witnessed a group of teenage boys stoning a duck to death. My first thought was that i wished i was a grown man and had the power to beat them stupid, Especially when i then saw how distressed the partner duck was :(

I think there are some very sick people out there but i believe what goes around comes around... I would love to see what these wasters are doing 5, 10 or 20 years from now.

    Poor puppy and girl. :(

You mean you would love them to not be around then.

Isn't that how majority of murderers and serial killers start out?

I actually feel physically sick reading that.

Anyone who would dare harm my dog (also a small dog) would soon find themselves in a world of fcuking pain.

Soulless, heartless bastards. The poor girl is the real victim in all this.

You must be very selective with the threads you read then.

I should point out they also had to move away. All I saw at the end was three messed up people with a huge regret that they would be pretty sure to keep getting punished for.

All studies show harsh punishment is a little deterrent yet fear of being caught is the biggest.

I don't have much sympathy for people who have done such things but after seeing them I think many people would have sympathy for them. A teenager may well be able to understand their actions but not fully enough to be for ever punished for their actions.

Nope I read anything and everything, read more threads here than I care to remember, I just can't get over how someone can compare saying a certain word to smashing an animals skull and say they're equally as bad. So I stand by what I said, stupid post, maybe said poster might think about it and reassess what she believes.

I have a friend from Sudan. His mother is French and he visits France regulary. The amount of racists comments he over hears directed at him is disgusting(what most people there dont know is that he is fluent in French)And it does upset him and pisses him off.

In his mind, the racist abuse he suffers is far worse than the death of a puppy.

maybe if someone stamped on his head he might revise that position,

Racial slurs are not as bad as crushing a puppies head for a laugh, the fact you even think that's true shows the kind of moral gymnastics that proper PC thinking requires. And tbh if these tossers turn out to be black, i would agree with Chris Rock that they should be labelled with the big bad N word that we dare not speak.

Fitting punishment - meet me for a one on six training session, and this is for real. I'd start by breaking six elbows, then six slow knee bars to shatter first six, then the other knee. I might consider smashing the other six elbows then, noth sure what method I'd use, but I have a few in my arsenal.

Then I'd break for lunch, but leave my son to practice his Judo too - a few collar chokes maybe.

Next day I'd consider smashing the six fvckers spine, just the lower part. I would't want to risk killing them at this early stage.

Then I'd get my mate Tony (he's gay and a sadistic bastard) to armed himself with his biggest and nastiest double-end and ruin the six guys intestines.

Third day, I'd strangle them with my bare hands and while watching their lifes ebb I'd invite them to pray with me for Gods forgiveness, but kill them before prayers end.

In a final fitting tribute I'd post a photo of them and I in the Nerds pix thread on this forum and you'll all applaud me fine work.

    Amen.

I honestly don't know how these people can live with themselves. These cruel bunch of scumbags deserve to be taught a lesson. I mean what possesses people to do these types of things. Are people so sadistic that they'll actually consider killing a defenceless animal. Not even that but even people who just want to beat people up for no reason as well. All I can say is, I really hope justice is done and these scumbags get what's coming to them.

Someone who is evil enough to do something this disgusting deserves some serious pain inflicted. What goes around comes around.

it would'nt be wrong in my opinion.....but because you have a conscience you would probably feel terrible after it.....it would'nt change them.....its the same school of thought as skangs who target the head specifically when assaulting people as it inflicts more damage faster.....people like that have lives so ****ed up that morals get lost along the way....

I agree with your opinion on what she said. Just thought it was a little harsh considering other things I have read about what people want to do to others etc

I went to see The Shining tonight which is a pretty violent movie and the biggest  moment for the audience was when Jack Nicolson said "There's a N*gg** in the Hotel .." .. so I do take your point on how some people in society seem to exaggerate certains 'sins' and place them far far to high on the list of human crimes.

Must you post this whenever something angers you?. You could at least come up with a new torture fantasy :pac:

EDIT: Aha, I knew I recognised this post. Seems your fellow internet hardman posted the very same thing about a year ago. Deffos getting old at this stage.

So the best suggestion we can come up with is to beat the ****e out of the perpatrators?

While it was an awful thing to do and I don't try to excuse it, it is just a dog, not a person. The sort of punishment people here seem to want is disproportionate to the crime committed. I for one am glad that most of the posters here do not work in the legal system.
