    I have an interesting picture on my camera that i must upload and show it to you guys an see what yee think. :eek: I was out house hunting with my friend AI a few weeks back for his web site, We were in a huge but grim basement of a big old house in the middle of no where, while he was working away in one of the rooms doing his 360 shots i was playing around with the camera taking a few pics of my own, i took about 5 of the same area (door way) and it was only when i looked back over the pics after that i noticed something weird in one of them, AI agreed also that it looked a bit odd indeed and could definitely be something.:confused:
    Was a fairly freaky place anyway, nearly pitch black down there :eek::eek:

    haha!! No it wasnt in Leixlip, it was in Westmeath as far as i can remember.

    Ooohhh just read about the other poster on here who had the exact same experience I did: 3 knocks at the window. That's really weird!

    Dead man's knock - what is that? A warning of death or something? I'm scared now! It was 8 yrs ago and I'm still alive so hopefully not! Actually feel a bit scared joking about it, I was that scared on the night.

    So, what is Dead man's knock?

    Apparently if you hear 3 knocks its a sign of an upcoming death, its also meant to be death who's knocking not too sure about it, thats all I know.
    Though, also its the same if a picture falls off a wall, I've heard anyway.

    around a year after my then girlfriend and I split up , I started to think of her frequently. I had no contact with her (her decision not mine), but one morning as I parked my car as I arrived to work I got an image in my head of her grand mothers(who was still alive) funeral but then I said to myself "nah thats her mother " I saw her father standing over the coffin. When I arrived at my desk I had an email waiting from a shared friend telling me that her mother had not long left. I remember almost fell off my chair I honestly had no way of knowing.

    Sorry cant say, my friend AI (Abandoned Ireland) dose not like me to tell others where the houses are that we visit together. We just don't want people finding them and vandals going in and wrecking the places.

    How is putting up a photo going to give away the location of a place you visited. You have to know the place to realise where or what it is in the first place. Also doesnt AI's website have mainly known sites in the first place??

    I was refering to the ques Ghost Girl asked me! (where in Westmeath is the house) and i said i cant say! Of course i can post the picture, but i cannot give the location, and no not all the places on AI's site are known to everyone. Some, but not all. You would never ever find half those places unless you knew where to look.

    Yeah I doubt its true tbh but its not necessarily said just for the person who hears it, it could be a sign of someone they know going to die.

    im from cahir co. tipp. many yrs ago in my teens, a group of us used to hang around the old grave yard beside the co-op. one of the lads took a skull from one of the graves.....and kicked it down the road....over towards the soccer pitch(about 500 yards away)....as we were passing the new church kicking the skull( with a cross on the right hand side) we all saw the devils face on the cross....all the lads left cahir the following yr. im living in clonmel now...still freaks me out to be honest

    OK , friends in work didnt think much of this so i decided to come on this and say it.

    Only just on saturday gone (24th) i went to bed bout half 11.
    I woke up at about half 3 id say from hearin a bang.
    I knew it was my phone just falling off my bed so i didnt really care, so i reached to the floor trying to find it again but i couldnt ( it was pitch black ) .
    I turned bac in and said feck tat. Then i heard a fainter kinda bang and i was kinda lookin around thinkin wat it , i tot it was just the wind as it was pretty bad out tat nite, ( im sure people can remember tat) but i definitely knew it wasnt coming from the window, i heard it again ... it sounded as if some1 wa knocking on a halo wall.... from hearing it ONCE more i realised it was coming from the landing wall ( its a partition )
    By this stage i was gettin fereaked out , i started gettin tat feelin as if some1 was in the room. NOw i kinda put tat to the side and tot it was just from me gettin freaked out but THEN i started to hear the floor creak as if some1 was slowly walkin across ( REALLY SLOWLY) , i couldnt close my eyes!, i then had a feelin of some1 right over me!, it was kinda like the feelin of puttin ur hand near the other but not touchin it, you still just know its there! ( try it! ) .
    My heart was goin quite fast at this point and i was gettin annoyed, as im feckin 20 and i shouldnt be gettin freaked out so easily!
    I got up all of a sudden and opened the curtain for some light form outside. I couldnt relax so ended up turnin the tv on and puttin Sky News on to relax my nerves! ( i know its stupid but it worked)
    I ended up fallin asleep wit the tv on .
    I got up about half 10 and straight away looked for my phone on the floor but i couldnt find it , it ended up being on the feckin window sill ( not on the side wer i would of open the curtain from ) , the weird thing was tat it was off ! I definitely had it while in bed during the nite as i was textin!, and the battery was grand on it!
    I also wlked across the room slowly and it was the exact noise i heard during the nite!

    The more i think about it the less i worry as i just keep thinkin its just my grandad keepin an eye on us. To check the story of me seein him one nite when i was small go to this link http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055712815.

    I said i had a pic of something i caught on my camera in an old house in Westmeath with AI and that i would post it up so everyone could have a look an see what they think. I just havnt had a chance to put it up yet (prob with PC at home), Give me a break please!!!. Ill put it up as soon as i can.
