celica battery replacement

hey was just looking on halfords because i need to replace the battery in my 94 st202 celica 2.0 and seen a cheap battery - http://www.halfords.ie/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_11101_catalogId_15551_productId_264247_langId_-1_categoryId_212578#dtab .. the old battery i took out was a 590 amp heavy duty one... would this 265amp battery work? or does anyone know the correct amp battery i need? any advise would be appreciated

You should keep somewhere near the same ratings as the old battery (presuming that the old one was the correct one for the car).
I wouldnt use the one you mentioned.

i know but to be honest, im selling the car on cheap cause it needs work and dont really want to pay big money for a new battery, just wondering if the lower amp battery will do the jop for the time being

maybe try a scrapyard then rather than a lower spec new battery ?
