Hi, I had that problem, what solved it for me was disabling a dibcom tv tuner device driver that installed itself when the mobile stick was installing drivers. After a few calls to vadafone, I was told that the people that supply Vodafone with the usb sticks also manufacture a tv tuner device. Microsoft made a mistake by bringing out an update for the tv tuner device which reads the usb stick as a tuner.
Go to control panel, system, device manager and the dibcom driver is in there, right click on it and select disable. Then do a restart and hopefully it will work for you! Hope it works for you. Let me know how you get on!

if that doesn't work you should also check if there's a firmware update for your modem
