    i spilled beer on my laptop . its booting ok but keys are not working . anyone know where i can get it tested to see if its just the keyboard that needs to be replaced ?

    Also can i use a US layout replacement (just cheaper online )
    what is the difference between US layout and UK ?

    No need for a duplicate thread. The american keyboard will work fine, only some keys will be mapped differently (e.g the @ symbol and the " symbol). You need a keyboard, I suggest you pay the asking price because it eBay is most likely your cheapest source.

    Both cost $15 dollars with delivery, can't complain with that.
