Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The word extension game

First poster posts a small word maybe 1 or 2 or 3 letters... Next poster adds to that word to form a new word, and so on...
    So poster 1 - a
    poster 2 - at
    poster 3 - sat
    poster 4 - shat
    poster 5 - shatter
    etc.

If a time goes by with no new additions to a word, or if people agree that a word can't be extended any further, a new one can be started... Winner is the "team" with the longest run of additions... So it's in your interest to make it easy for the next person... (and I don't mean form up into teams, it's just a bit of craic)

    Rules:

You can add to the begining, middle or end but not take away any letters from the previous word.
No deliberately sabotaging someone else's run! (i.e. deliberately putting words so they can't be extended)
No "looking up" (except to validate if you have a real word)

    So I suppose I'll start...
