From an objective point of view, yes, it is all quite pointless!

Still though, you might aswell maximise the seretonin and dopamine release in your brain while you exist!

Drink. Have sex. Eat what you like. Smoke. Take drugs. You might aswell, 'cause theres only one place you're going mate. 6 foot under to be eaten by the fcuking worms'!

It's true. Everything is created, exists, and then dies. Even the universe will. We are all stardust at the end of the day. Still, while the whole meaning of life and existence is nothing, you may as well take all the enjoyment and pleasure it provides you. Beats sitting around being unhappy anyways!

If there's no point to it all then there's no point letting it upset you. I know what you mean about how fake people can be, but for most people that's how they get by with their pointless lives too.

Just enjoy it all while ya can. I saw an interview with Pantera in a magazine with the headline "Big fake Tit*ies and Heavy Fcuking Metal!". Now they had a good philosophy!

If it helps op, in terms of the problem you've identified, there's not really any other way it could be. Trying to make a positive difference to the lives of others (especially those who'll outlive you) may give your life more meaning (or you could really go back to ignorant bliss and start believing in god again).
