    Hi,

Just wondering has anybody flown this type or aircraft yet with Virgin and what was the service like. Flying to Miami in early December so wondering what their legroom, in-flight entertainment & Food & Drink were like?

    Thank you

Flew with them LHR-EWR, economy. Service wise they worked hard, around very frequently with drinks and snacks, not so much on the way back. IFE is maybe a little dated now and slow, but not the worst by far. Food was decent. Legroom was fair, i had window seats confirmed for both trips but they were changed at check-in, shame because the window seats have a good 4 or 5 inches more space from armrest to window. Premium economy looked very comfortable. Only annoying thing was I had connected from DUB on Aer Lingus and my bag checked through to EWR and when I checked in at a kiosk in LHR T3 the machine said i still had to go queue up at a bag drop desk, or my bag wouldn't be loaded...

I flew Upper Class with them LHR-JFK and back in June 08. It was great.

I am flying out of ORK to LHR then on to MIA and then onto Cancun. Hoping bags will be checked through to CUN. Dont fancy taking them around LHR T1-T3.

Virgin seem to be getting alot of bad reviews lately and wondering should we have gone with BA.

Flew to HK with them some time ago. IMO better than BA. The IFE is fine. It's a very long aircraft and at the back it tends to wallow a bit but I find tha strangely restful.
