    Hey,
I'm in 6th year and thinking of doing speech and language therapy in trinity next year :)
Just wondering what the course is like and what the job prospects after the course are like?

    Thanks in advance!

One of the girls I live with does it- and she loves it (thus far)

You're basically on track to be a speech and language therapist (obviously).

What has you interested in SLT? Is it the linguistics side of things or the clinical side of things?

I'm doing the masters in SLT in Limerick at the moment and I'm loving it!
I would defo recommend it! Although the job prospects aren't amazing at the moment, you will be in college for 4 years so the economic situation will be VERY different by that time! also there is an increasing awareness of the need for SLTs so hopefully there will be more jobs soon!!
