Philips 42PLF 5404

Hi
The brother in law is looking to upgrade his 10 year old tv

and i was looking at the Philips 42plf5404 for him. What price John / Ash could you do this tv for

? he's based in dublin so can collect from the Phillips shop and only uses NTL digital at the moment.
Or have you any other suggestions for a good value set for around the same price ?

or any good bargins deals going at the moment ?

Hi Joe,

The 42PFL5604 is going for €799.99 instore but you get your 10% boardies discount off that.

This is a Full HD 1080p TV and a great price. It'll look good with the NTL but I strongly recommend getting yourself a nice gold scart to get the very best picture quality.

Thanks for the reply, the 42PFL5604 is €750 in DID, €710 in Richer sounds, €730 in Power city

with yourselves €799.99 - 10% = €720 all the above are straight internet searches, any improvement on the price Nicola?

Thanks for the post - yep the Richer Sounds Price on the 42PFF5604h has just dropped to £619.95 / €689.99 including the 2 year warranty which is a completely cracking price for a superb product!

apologies for the delay in getting back to you.

We did sell the 42PFL5604h at £599.95 thanaks to our RS Cousins in the UK - however we sell this including the 2 year warranty at £619.95 (we have now updated our site

).

I am happy to honour the £599.95 price from Richer Sounds - until the end of this week only - however thereafter it will have to revert to £619.95 sorry guys!

The 10% Boardies discount only applies from The Philips Shop - unfortunately we really just don't have the margin to give ANY additional discount in RS on most products (but always try me - you never know what pills we have been taking on the day you ask!

yes if you are a personal shopper in Belfast we can do Laser - we cannot (generally) take it for mail order tho..

but he did manage to get a 2 yr warranty

Thanks for that - no problem the DID guys are mainly good guys as to be fair are most of the Power City branches - I hope he got a good deal and it's great he got the Philips 2 year warranty - as ever drop me a line if we can assist in any way - even if not bought from us!
