Hi All, I purchased my Laptop in New York in 2007. It runs great except this will be the 3rd universal charger i need to buy. The connection that goes into the back of the laptop just seems to always break - not sure whats wrong with it but I have to jig/twist/turn it for about 20 mins each time just to get a power source. Its is a Kensington 90W AC Power Adaptor w/USB and cost me e89 the last time when i bought it this time last year. Its very frustrating that they dont last longer (i'm sure they're supposed to). I use the computer every day so would like something a little more reliable. Any ideas what to buy or if I can get it fixed? Thanks!

You might have better luck with a power adapter from Trust. Here's a couple I found on Elara.

    NOTEBOOK POWER ADAPTER PW-1250P €32.81

NOTEBOOK POWER ADAPTER 70W UK €27.95

Thank you so much. I will call Elara for best option. I looked at the description for the first adapter and noticed it was not compatible w/a gateway so will double check. Many thanks again!
