Hi, Just wondering does anyone have any experience of making Vodka Jelly Shots that actually set? All the instructions online are in ounces and use proofing (?). Hi,

Just wondering does anyone have any experience of making Vodka Jelly Shots that actually set? All the instructions online are in ounces and use proofing (?). I used this recipe:

20g gelatine
80ml hot water
30ml cold water
50ml cold alcohol

...except doubled everything to make 12 shots. I also used Chiver's and put in a third of the packet which was roughly 40g. Still hasn't set after about 3 hours. Any ideas on how I can improve it so it actually sets?

You have 30ml too much hot water and forget about the cold water(the vodka does its job).
