    himself has just fallen out of bed with a massive black eye, he got a dig in the pub last night after the football

    whats the best thing to do with it? ice?

    Get a towel and wet a corner with VERY hot water, firmly massage and repeat twice daily, it gets coagulated blood out of the vessels and halves healing time. Follow by rubbing in some sort of anti-inflamm gel if you have it, eg Cuprofen. Works for bites anyway!;)

    going to head out and get some arnica tablets now.

    i have comfrey gel but cant put that on his eye.

    he wont be going to anymore football matches again, i can tell you.:mad:
