Think Kenny would be better then Cowen.. doesn't have the Bertie factor but I doubt the waste would not be there anyway. Why not ask about Gerry Adams or Gilmore (who has a higher rating!)

Ya did seem like the same few laughing and clapping alright - really loudly. Staged? Ryan did better with Cowen tbh - this should have been the true interview.

Pathetic. Pathetic. Pathetic - Ryan Tubridy was shameful with his obsequious servile fawning to Ahern.

He let that scumbag Patrick Bartholomew Ahern plámás his way out of every single question. Any regrets, "Bertie"? Ah yeah, I've a few (shrug shoulders, smile) you know ... [before avoiding the question and mentioning another "success"] It was repulsive to watch Tubridy let him away with everything. Contrast this to the way Tubridy grilled Brian Cowen even insinuating that Cowen has a drink problem.

And as for that Late Late Show audience. What the f*uck were those inbreds cheering for when that Ahern character spoke? Had they, collectively, a brain between them? No!

PS: Oh yes, Patrick Bartholomew Ahern: we did see you stick the knife in Brian Cowen several times, as he cleans up the mess you presided over for the previous 11 years.

    Every word was calculated.....

Every question pre-screened I'd imagine. A real investigative journalist, Jeremy Paxman for instance, would have filleted Ahern. He couldn't even look Tubridy in the eyes when answering. Did you see him shift from side-to-side when matters pertaining to his bank account were mentioned?

Love the way Pravda RTE allowed him to get a dig in at Kenny at the end.

    Really unbiased National Broadcaster.

If Cowen was half as media-savvy as Bertie, he too would have planted the audience with his supporters when he had his Late Late interview last month.

This is the problem: people have been letting this individual away with everything under the guise of it being "funny" or Ahern being "funny" or being "one of the lads" or other populist decoration on the deceit, conjobs and abject corruption which this man has presided over and encouraged for over a decade.

Stop laughing. He is not "one of us" and he is not looking out for ordinary people.
