The excellent Band on an Island (www.myspace.com/bandonanisland) release their debut album 'The Sound-Sweep' this Saturday, 10th October. The launch will be held in the Academy 2 with doors opening around 7.30.

would love to go, two class bands and a great line-up for that price.

have seen both bands supporting the mighty stef, so definitley worth a look.

tycoons last single "the dry law" was amazing and im sure ciaran and his bunch wil put on a rawcus event!!

Apparently Band on an Island are going all out - strings, brass sections, the whole kit and kaboodle. And us Tykes are rarin for it too.
