New Jellybeans without gelatin!!!

Managed to pick up some new jellybeans today and they are tasty!

From a company called The Jelly Bean Factory, they are:

Free from Gelatin
Free from Gluten
Free from GMO
Free from Nuts

Coming in a small-ish green packet, they cost around 70c in my local rip-off store so good pricing i guess:D

However there is always a downside...the glazing agents are Carnauba wax, Beeswax and Shellac so those veggies with animal issues should avoid.

so weird coz just before i came on i was searching for jelly beans in the house, then i came and saw ur post! freaky!!

Just like you ladies i've failed to see the coveted packs of Haribo ones anywhere:(:(

But i did see veggie/vegan cola bottles and wine gums (cant be sure) in Health Matters on Grafton St. a few days ago while buying energy gels for my running pursuits:D

T'was Superquinn, Ranelagh. I've kept an eye out but haven't seen them since I bought all of them off the shelf. You'd think they'd construe this as demand :rolleyes:

I was enjoying looking at the Haribo logo and underneath, the legend "Suitable for Vegetarians" but the glazing agents include Carnauba and Beeswax. I still have a pack for Sweet-R, if she be wantin' ...

It's the wax of a South American palm tree, no idea why it wouldn't be veggie?? Unless insects get scooped in with the harvesting of the wax.

ammerican hard gums are like giant jelly tots! - mainly found in bags & also in loose jars in the few shops that still sell this way.
