Please help - tried freeloader for US game, now my Wii won't work at all

I bought the tiger woods game for the Wii in the US. I didn't realise that the games are confined to different regions and wouldn't work on my european machine. I then read about a freeloader disc that would enable the us game to play on my machine. On inserting this the game appeared to work momentarily, but then an update started on the machine. After that my wii won't work at all. The home screen doesn't come up at all and the screen is completely blank.

Is there anything I can do about this now? Or where could I try to get this fixed.
    Thanks

    Nintendo blocks usage
Although the Freeloader only allows legally purchased game discs to be played, Nintendo has released an updated firmware that blocks it from running, known as IOS37. As well as this, certain games made by Nintendo with the 3.3 update such as Disaster: Day of Crisis will not allow the Freeloader to bypass the update. Instead, upon clicking on the disc channel it blocks the Freeloader.

    From Wiki

Don't know how to get your Wii back to normal.
