    How do you get rid of the Gdooey Mae worm? AVG free wont get rid of it.

    That's an autorun.inf intruder and can infect other devices too. You need Flash Disinfector.

    What it does:
    - adds autorun.inf to root drives (C: D: and all removable drives that I insert into my computer)
    - this autorun is supposed to execute the wa6.vbs script.
    - it changes the desktop background to a blank screen after a new boot.
    - It adds the words Gdooey Mae in the Windows Internet Explorer bar behind the title of the current website
    - I can not open the infected drive by doubleclicking on them but I have to use explore command

    When I save the shortcut to the desktop and try to start it, it won't start. What could be done to solve that?
