Since tapering starts today what kinda runs are people doing. my plan is 7.5 miles tonight, 4 miles speed work tuesday, 7.5 thursday and 10 on sat.

Following week 7.5m monday, 4 miles speed on tuesday, 5 miles thursday and 7 on sat!

Following week 5 miles monday, 4 miles speed tuesday and 5k on thursday!

Should i do more than 10 miles and 7 miles on the weekend runs?

It really depends on the intensity of your training up to this point, but 10 and 7 does seem a little light. Higdon's plans would have you doing 12 and 8. P&D 55mpw plan (higher up the experience ladder) would see you doing 16 and 12. While I'm no expert, I would aim to at least cover Higdon's mileage. while it's better to under-train than over-train, you don't want to taper too much/too early to make life harder on yourself.

Yep, seems very light. Although without knowing your training to date it's difficult to comment.

You should at least be maintaining the same number of "running days" per week. So, if it's been 5 days a week up to now, then keep it at 5.

Intensity should remain the same, just drop the volume.
This week chop 10% off last week's mileage
Next week chop 25% of this week's mileage
Final week chop a third off the penultimate week's mileage

i.e. if you did 50 miles last week, then drop as follows:
    - 45 this week
    - 35 next week
    - 22 in final week

I usually run 4 days a week and if i did a fifth it was arecovery run of 3 miles!

usually do 7.5 miles, 4 miles, 10 miles and then long one which over last 6 weeks been 18 or higher. Usually average out 45 miles a week.

So seems like going by responses i got maybe switch one 7.5 miler for a 10 an do a 13 this weekend. And then just drop thr 10 miler to 7.5 following week and do 10 on that weekend!
