while talking to a colleague in work the other day he was telling me about a night out he went on with his friends, now most of his friends would come from wealthier families than most of us but when he told me his friends names I thought they were such typical rich people names.such as, Cornelius,Reginald and clifford,im just wondering if anyone else has any wealthier friends or knows of someone with wealthier friends with rich people names that are kinda mad

I always associated the name clifford with giant red dogs not rich people.

    Sorry :o
If it's any consolation, I was meant to have a double-barrelled name, but my dad 'forgot' when he was registering me.

I find names like Charlotte, Emily, Elizabeth etc. to be 'posh people' names

Popular 'rich' people names become the most popular poor people's names after about 10-15 years.
Interesting chapter on baby names in a book called Freakonomics.

Anyhow, the real problem is when the kids with double barrelled names start marrying each other. :-/
