Does anywhere in Knocknacarra or Salthill do bacon & cheese chips? I have me a craving.

Next time try the chipper in Barna, only a couple minutes drive and the food is mighty. Tried it for the first time last week and will try again!

The chips alone are good. Anything else I've had from there has been pretty substandard.

We/(I) ordered quarter pounders, curry chips and battered sausages and were very impressed I gotta say. Saying that, it has been a while since we had eaten in a chipper (instead of BK, McD, SMacs etc) so that may have swung it. Gonna give it another go this week, will post a review if I remember.
