junior and leaving cert for very mature students???

I'm not sure i'm in the right place, but does anyone have any advice or information on junior and/or leaving cert courses for very mature students (over 60's). A close friend has of mine had decided that they would like to go back to the education that they missed out on when they were young and isnt sure how to go about it.
I would be very grateful for any guidance or information that anyone could provide.:)

I know of a few PLC college which also offer Junior and Leaving Cert for adults. I don't know where your friend is based but there's Plunkett's in Whitehall http://www.plunketcollege.ie/adultspt.php and Pearse College http://www.pearsecollege.ie/adult_leaving_certificate.html

If you google PLC colleges in your area, there is bound to be one doing both courses.

My friend isnt actually based in dublin.(I should have mentioned that), but your post has helped because we didnt even know where to start looking! Your advice is very much appreciated. thank you
