Athlone Water based Activities

Hi,

I have a few friends invited down to Athlone for next weekend and I was trying to organise some activities such as fishing, ideally where someone tookus out, provided the gear etc...or some other water based activity, kayaking etc.

Not much is coming up from my google searches, anyone have any ideas, websites, numbers?

thanks Saint_Mel but I wasn't really looking for a powerboat lesson or cruise but they are options to look at. If it was a cruise combined with fishing, perfect, I'll check with them, maybe they do that. I reckon people might be bored with just the cruise but maybe not.

not really what I'm after, more training courses... would be expensive for a day out but good to know what type of stuff is available in Athlone
