I have a Pioneer Kuro Plasma 12 months old or so.

Just got transferred to Seattle in the US.

Can I bring my TV to the USA and will it work?

    Three considerations.....

    1. Mains electricity: US is 110v 60Hz, we are 220-240v 50Hz

    2. Video standard here is PAL, it's NTSC in the US though premium screens tend to be multistandard.

    3. Not sure about UHF/VHF frequencies or the increments in tuning.

Unless you get an unqualified 'bring it over and you'll be grand' recommendation, I'd say leave the set here and buy a new screen over there.

Analog TV has been mostly switched off in the US. They use a different digital standard to Europe (US ATSC vs EU DVB-T), so you're better off leaving your set at home or selling it.
