Honorable Mention to Thomond2006 - for the use of "Queen Cakes"

Least: A draw between Supermarket self stacking...

Of course that's least taxing. If the supermarkets stack themselves, what need is there for humans?

LOL at those lazy f*ckers in the IT Dept, "Did you log a call."

Finishing can be some of the most mind-numbing work in the world. "Here's 100,000 leaflets. You're going to spend the next week folding them in half."

    Most: AH mod.

Still in your first week and you're already playing the "poor AH mods" card? Dude, don't fire the big guns first! People try to shred Terry on feedback/help desk regularly, javadoc get constant accusations of nefarious intimacies (granted, mostly from me), sharpshooter has a neverending stream of internet nerds with female authority-figure issues going mental at her, and Tar is too busy doing the actual modding while the rest of them deal with that crap to even come to peoples notice. You're here a few days, at least wait till you have been a big enough bastard to warrant using the get-out clause!

Sorry Josephine Victorious Trailer, you just used the ace in your sleeve way too early, you gotta at least wait till your first monster Feedback/Help Desk thread to pull that one, for double points use it to counter-troll a Rozie re-reg or something else that is guaranteed to lead to someone going into completely hysterical overdrive.

Oh, and anyone working in the emergency services has the most mentally taxing job, end of.

I worked in a big software packaging/printing warehouse. It was a temp job that lasted a week. one of the days was spent putting inlay cards in cd cases.A whole bunch of us did 3 days of training and then 5 days of work and on the friday afternoon were told that the job was finished and we wont be needed anymore.

3 days of training for putting stickers on boxes and cards in cases.

I spent 2 weeks in an irish tile company. they let me use the forklift with no license or training!, but just for practicing, I did get to use it a few times to take stuff down from the top racks. I used to race it down the aisles and make turns at full speed.

I crashed it on my 18th birthday, the front sliding door to the warehouse was slightly lower than usual, I didnt notice. job ended the next week

they had a diesel forklift that could do 40mph, someone with a brain noticed I was dangerous on it and got me off fairly quickly!

There is two types of rolling doors when fork lifts are around

Those that have been crashed into,

Those that are going to be crashed into.

Its inevitable, i'd sue for unfair dismissal tbh

    Qualifications include:
    • Being a fat bastard.
    • Being an ignorant bastard.
    • Just being an incredible douchebag.

the thing is that it was 2weeks probation, the manager told me they didnt get the sales they were expecting so couldnt keep me on.

the funny thing is they hired a guy soon after that i had worked with in the last job. a drug dealer on probation with kids with 2 women, early 20's. he'd come in to work chewin the jaws off himself at the weekends.

they made him a superviser in that first job after I left! the warehouse/business eventually closed down because the manager was stealin money and mixin whiskey and painkillers up in his office overlooking the warehouse floor. I could have sued that time as he let me go because there wasnt any work, only to rehire latvians after I had gone that worked for 3euro less an hour. this was 8 years ago before all the eastern europeans came and tuk urr jurbs!

Yeah, turns out that's really easy. You see, anything public is always made to seem overcomplicated in order to justify the neccessity of the role.

Having gone undercover I've found that it is literally making a "make fire go" button with the proof of phythagorus drawn on the side of it.
    :(

''Have you tried turning it off and on again?''

Yeah, I can see how that could be challenging.

Are you sure it's plugged in?

Are you sure it's plugged in?

To be honest, if your IT department are saying that to you, they must know your kinda thick.

The only time we use line's like that is when we’re dealing with someone that keeps making dumbass mistakes.

    Especially Programming.

Ye Programmers with yer "Its not a bug, its a feature, its up to support to figure our mess of an app out and tell the Business to feck off I'm too Busy working my low input/high return task list" attitude ;):p

    Deep breath, pant

Seriously though, hats off to any Programmer, its up there as one of the Most challenging I'd say...but boy do ye guys harp on about it :D:D:D

The most challenging part about being a programmer was staying awake during the meetings, I found.

Re: Your second point.. oh the irony.

The irony in him mentioning ignorance... You sir have a picture of a suped up renault clio and vote NO to lisbon in your signature. I think you may have just proven his point for him!

Hardest job : Being a chef in a very busy kitchen (although not so many of those these days)

Easiest : Being a father, especially if you dont know you are!
