UPC call centre in the usa?? scam

Guys I got a call at 8.30 tonight from an american lad saying they have upgraded the broadband in my area and the quailty will be better etc... He then said im intitled 2 a free phone ad whats my address and he will send it out to me... I declined his offer as I tought this sounds dodgy as they have my address already I…

I checked the number they called on and it a number in USA, NTl sales office close at 8 aswell..

as anybody else heard of this?

Im worried..
