I have one about 5 minutes that i've always voted in but for some reason this year they are sending us 40 minutes away. Stupid fúcks. Loads of people in my area don't drive and i doubt they are gonna take 2 buses to the place.

That's cos they know that you're going to vote "No", and are making it as difficult as possible, short of bundling you into the back of a van until polling's finished.

I would be interested to see how your area voted the last time out when they make a change like that.

Keep that in mind on your way to cast your ballot.

I won't be voting. Thought that was the point of my post, despite forgetting what day it was. Suppose that what you get for having a busy week.

Our voting cards are CONSTANTLY ballsed up. A few years ago we were being told to go to Navan, about 25 minutes away. We made numerous phonecalls to try and sort it out and then for the last Lisbon referrendum we were sent 40 minutes away!! This time we're being sent about 15 minutes drive away, even though there are two polling stations within 5 minutes of our house. Feckers

Well if things werent the way they were I'd be joking this, but in actual fact perhaps its because your area voted a lot of NO in the last referendum so they are making sure you cant get to the polls to fudge it up for them. Vote however you like but democracy should not be run like that.

I bet there's a Lisbon Treaty polling station near you, just for for hardcore "No" voters.
