Meteor bill pay lite and data add-on

Hi, I'm thinking of switching to meteor bill pay lite from 3 PAYG. Does ayone know if the 250MB add-on can be activated at signup or do you have to wait until next bill date? I dont want to be without my data connection... Thanks, -fm

Data addons are activated within a few hours and pro-rated for the remainder of the billing period.

I signed up just over a week ago, seemed to work fine. Be warned that the usage figures on mymeteor.ie aren't very accurate, so you should track your own usage with an application on your phone, if you can.
