    Hey

I've been looking for a while for a broad band system, i can use to game on line and etc... was thinking about getting the 3.6 connection but it seems that the 7.2 would be better, ive just got a few questions cause its pretty confusing for me about the just broad band packages...

    Eircom say
    Special Offer:
    €26.66
For the first three months for new and upgrading customers

Now thast great but is that including line rental or excluding? Biggist question..

may have a couple more :)

that would be excluding line rental. I'm with Eircom at the minute and phoned to see if I can drop the phone and just have broadband only. I was told it's more expensive to have broadband only than to have the phone and broadband package I currently have which is €50+ per month

Yeah it seems that having broadband only ends up being more expensive. I've the 3MB + phoneline package now for 50 euro month, about 40 for the first 3 months which aint that bad I don't think. Free phone calls evenings + weekends too to local and national numbers.

Would it be a smart move on your part to switch to Vodafone for twice the BB speed at roughly the same cost, give or take a euro or 2

The deal is €25.47 a month. It has to be paid. You can gasp....now! Although, I think Vodafone include it in their pricing (broadband and phone calls).
