Sony's customer service problems arent limited to their hardware.

Star Wars Galaxies (an MMO) had such problems that the player held a mass peaceful protest in game, squatting in one of the market places. This humorous response to piss poor services was handled how?

By Sony banning all of the participants accounts from the servers without refund.

... that was quite a while ago.

Quite a while ago but still the same situation nowadays

No doubt. But how far do things have to get with your company to cause a mass virtual strike?

My Sony phone is starting to give me a lot of hassle now and its barely a year old. Very irritating when my previous nokia's would last at least 2-3 years (3510 lasted me for four).

The company completely ignore the customers opinions. I remember I saw a clip with the head of Sony saying the PS3 is a marvellous piece of technology, it will last you until the next gen playsation comes out

Sony phones are sh1t also. I had one and it literally fell apart in about 6 months, whereas Nokia are bulletproof, my friend still has Nokia after 5 years and he hasn't a bad word to say about it.

My last three SE phones only lasted a year to two each before suffering software problems, I got a year out of each K800i before they got the white screens of death. The K750i was a great little work horse but the joystick button finally gave up after too many falls, it survived a drop off a 5 story building site so I can't really complain. My C902 has been nothing but trouble with glitchy software and random crashing since day one, don't know how many times its been ''fixed'' since.

On the other hand I have a 10 year old Nokia 3330 that still works just fine and an 8 year old 8310 thats still a great little phone.

Just give me a phone thats basic just calls and texts and works for years instead of these fancy 3G phones with loads features I never use and work a few months at a time without problems.

Thats what I have ATM, its so much more simpler than 5 megapixel cameras and
    instant vodafone live access

Have you flashed it? I still get a reboot a couple times a month but thats it. I got WSOD on the 750i though.

SE still deny the instability of the OS, its a real shame because other than that I love their phones, though it must be said that the cheaper ones are just that, cheap. Dont bother with Ks anymore, they're utter crap now.

Have an N6100 for years, that phone is proof of Nokia's longevity, bashed it around for years and it isnt even scratched. The old 3320s I think it was could be used as cannon fodder and then make a call.

Next phone will probably end up being a nokia if the OS problems arent sorted out be SE.

A few years ago I got some crank calls to my mobile at 2 Am, and again at 3 am. Some chick at a party had dialled the wrong number, then thought it would be fun to call back a couple of times. I added her to my phonebook, switched off the phone and went back to sleep.

Three weeks or so later I rang her at 4 AM and asked her how it felt.
She had the good grace to apologise :)
