    Hi All
First off i hope its ok to put this post here rather than the cycling section as my primary purpose for getting a bike is to do a Triathlon.
I am looking to get a bike (through the bike to work scheme) and am looking at the above models. I have very little experience with road bikes so my knowledge is limited. Does anyone have any feedback on either one of these.
I know my local shop in Midleton stock Trek models so i am leaning towards them slightly as i would perfer to buy local so i can just pop down the road to get it serviced or for any problems i might have.
On the other hand the 220 tri mag give the Giant a good review.

Do shop let you take a bike for a spin before you buy ?.

    Regards

Good bike shops should let you ride before you buy.

    Both would be good bikes.

Stop reading 220 now though. Their reviews are never honest or accurate.

    Hi Tunney
Thanks for the reply, just a question about the 220 Tri mag, can you recommend any good mags. I am a newbie and just trying to get as much info as possible.

None of them are really great but triahlon plus is a little more honest, and useful, than 220.
