Using an old Laptop with Eircom Modem

I have a Powerbook that I use most of the time but I also have a P3 Vaio running Windows ME. I want to use Sopcast but my Mac is a G4 so I am wondering if I could use the old Vaio. Doesn't look like ME is compatible looking at this... Not surprising really.
