upc 3mb or 10mb?

    Any advice appreciated.

    I live in Malahide area and am swithching from Eircom broadband 1mb to upc.

    Guy is calling out next Tue. I have requested 3mb but can upgrade to 10mb on day for extra €10 per month.

    I use internet for surfing, watching vids on youtube, playing online poker, uploading photos now and again etc.

    Should I upgrade to 10mb or is 3mb enough?

    Also does anyone know if the upc broadband in Malahide area is reliable?

    do you download movies often? if so, you're probably going to exceed the 3mb usage cap, which is 30gb.

    also, are you planning to get the wireless router for 50 euro with the 3mb package? its free with the 10mb..

    Don't download movies but am getting wireless.

    Hadn't realised there was a €50 charge at 3mb and not at 10mb.

    This would mean that I would be getting an extra 7mb for €70 in a year.

    Will almost definitely go 10mb so.

    Anyone know what the service is like from upc in Malahide area.
