    Morning!

    I'm up since 7, my friend that was staying over had to head back to the airport. Am shattered.

    We found a beautiful apartment for decent money in Hampstead Heath yesterday... I just need a 9 - 5 job to fall into my hands now. Freelancin' ain't gonna pay the bills over here for a while yet.

    I never really liked the orchestral covers of Metallica - It was great to hear something so different when it came out alright, but it never sat straight with me.

    Oh, listening to Satie's Gnossiennes n.2 at the minute. Fantastic :)

    Normally I don't care for them either but this one was done very well IMO.

    Actually, what I did think was great* was the Beatallica covers - Well worth a listen for a laugh.

    Don't do it. You can read my review over at Talkbass.com about it.link.
    I have the Japanese version (SB-1000CB) and it's miles better.

    You can pick up an 80's SB for much cheaper and they're much better than this crappy Korean one.

    Ok, well that one is out of your budget anyways. So thats good. :p

    Pick up an SX Precision in the Waltons up past the end of O'Connell street. Wire the pickup direct to the jack. The pots suck and its a cheap way to get past it. Plus the pickup with no load on it will sound better. Quick setup and then Bob's your auntie! :)
